I’m Dorothy Potter Snyder.
I’m a writer, editor and literary translator from Spanish. I write short stories and essays, contribute to editorial and curriculum development projects, and publish the occasional newspaper or magazine piece when the whim strikes me.
My areas of greatest expertise are literature, storytelling, and Hispanic culture, with a focus on Central America and the Caribbean. I’m passionate about discovering, translating into English, and promoting contemporary literature by Hispanic women.
I believe that good stories change the world for the better.
